Contemporary
Circus Director

My performance work lives at the intersection of contemporary circus and ensemble dance theater. It centers the awkward, the authentic, and the vulnerable, and mines the inevitable complexities that arise when people strive for change together.
I invest in non-hierarchical structures and champion artistic and administrative experimentation. Always, collaboration, ensemble, exchange, and cycles of action, reaction, and response are primary.
My work has been presented by Jacob's Pillow, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, FringeArts, New York Live Arts, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Co., Queer Zagreb, Touchstone Theatre, Morris Museum Presents, the Mexico City International Festival of Contemporary Dance, Assembly Festival, Breaking Walls Festival (Cairo), and Zoo Edinburgh, among others.
